About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Brooklyn, NY, providing individual and couples therapy to adolescents and adults. In my practice, I cultivate a relationship grounded in radical openness, guided by psychoanalytic principles that engage with systemic power dynamics. My approach emphasizes dismantling internalized oppression while exploring the ways unconscious shapes our experience.

I'm a queer Jewish clinical psychologist in Brooklyn, NY. I earned my Ph.D. at Long Island University-Brooklyn and completed clinical training at Mount Sinai and Maimonides Medical Center, and my postdoctoral fellowship at Barnard College's Furman Counseling Center. I am currently part-time faculty at Lenox Hill Hospital Outpatient Center for Mental Health as well as The Friedman Transgender Program for Health and Wellness.

My expertise includes treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship issues, as well as addressing experiences around sexual, gender, cultural, and other non-dominant identities. I have a background in addressing white privilege and reducing bias in hiring decisions based on my doctoral research.

I am a trained in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and primarily utilize this approach in my relationship/couples work, integrating it with psychoanalytic and feminist/multicultural frameworks.
