FAQ
-
Cost and Accessibility
I believe therapy must be accessible, so I work on a sliding scale based on financial need. I encourage you to discuss this with me, and we can come to a fee that works for both of us.
-
Insurance and payment
I am in-network with Aetna for individual therapy and also work with folks out of pocket. In those cases, I do provide a superbill which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.
-
Free Consulation
I offer free brief consultations where you are welcome to ask any questions, tell me a'little about what you’re looking for, any insurance/payment issues, and you’ll get some sense of what I”m like to work with. If it is a good fit, we will schedule an initial intake session and take it from there.

Sessions and Privacy
I see most clients in-person at my office in Brooklyn Heights and am available remotely as well for those residing in New York State. Telehealth sessions are conducted through HIPPA-compliant Zoom video calls. I meet with clients between 1-4 times per week. I often find greater session frequency provides the experiential platform needed for deeper work.
